Halo Cigs is the producer of some of the most popular cig-a-likes available today, including the best-selling G6. When word came out that the company was getting to work on a brand new, bigger and better battery system for e-cig smokers ready to move up from their mini-battery kits, including the G6, we knew we wanted to get our hands on it to review its performance.
The Halo Cigs Triton Series promises the production of a lot more vapour and flavour so that you can take your experience to a new level. But does it live up to its own claims? Continue reading to check out our review of this item and see if it’s worth investing in.

First Impressions
We received a few starter kits to try out, and the 650mAh (4.2v) batteries came in lime, blue, and yellow. These also featured two 2.4ml clearomisers, a cone, a USB adapter, and a modern new wall adapter. For everything you get, the price is rather affordable.
Triton batteries are available in 1300mAh, 900mAH, 650mAh, and 400mAh. These will come in 11 colours, as will the cones that arrive with your kit, so you can choose the one that you like best. The colours include titanium, brown, rainbow, red, yellow, purple, lime, fuchsia, blue, emerald, and black. But the batteries will also come in 900mAh PassThru and 900mAh Twist, with these manufactured only in blue, fuchsia, and black.
We like that the top-coil, long-wick clearomisers feature replaceable coil heads. These were actually custom tailored for the Triton Series. Users will be able to use the 2.4ml clearomisers, as well as a 1ml clearomiser option, and both of these will come in seven different colours that include clear, blue, black, red/pink, green, yellow, and purple. It is also worth noting that the 1ml clearomiser option will be compatible with your G6 batteries too. And when it comes to the replaceable coil heads on the 2.4ml clearomiser, you will be able to choose from three resistance levels.
back to menu ↑Giving It a Test Run
The first thing that we noticed about the Halo Cigs Triton Series was the case that the kit came in. It is made of high quality materials and it is completely padded, along with specific cutouts for every piece in the kit to fit snugly and securely in place. You can also expect that the batteries will be nearly completely charged up so that you can get to trying the kit out right away without wasting any time. Once your battery runs out of power, though, you can expect that it will take anywhere from 1.5-2.5 hours to fully charge up again.
In terms of the actual battery life and the amount of vaping that you can enjoy in between charges, we were pleasantly surprised that you can get quite a few hours in before you have to switch out the battery for more power. In fact, during our test run, the battery went over 6 hours each time we used it, and we are pretty heavy e-cig smokers, so we were not even sure it would get beyond 3 hours. To clarify, we used the 650mAh option and got these great results, so you can expect more from the more powerful battery options available. We’re thinking that the combination of the refined clearomiser and the efficiency of the product allows it to last this long.
In addition to the batteries, we were also highly impressed by the 2.4ml clearomisers, which produced plenty of vapour and did not leak at all. However, we did notice that these did use up quite a bit of e-liquid in a fairly short amount of time. Nevertheless, the filling process is simple, as all you need to do is unscrew the product’s drip tip and fill it up so that you’re good to go for a few hours.
The main drawback that we encountered with the clearomiser is that it will not fit any other batteries. In the same way, though, the battery in this kit will not be compatible with any other clearomiser either.

We even found that the product’s drip tip was extremely comfortable. We felt that, even though we were used to e-cig smoking with other manufacturers’ products, we didn’t miss them at all while we were using the Triton Series. This product didn’t disappoint.
