High-tech e-cigs are continuing to make an impact on the market, leading the evolution of these products. Following up the release of the eVic Supreme, which is one of the most advanced and most expensive e-cig products that you’ll find on the market, Joyetech has also released a new product called the eCom-C, which is much more affordable but definitely still high-tech with plenty of advanced features.

We had the pleasure of testing the Joyetech eCom-C for ourselves. What follows is our review of our experience so you can decide whether this product is worth investing in for your own collection of e-cig products.

First Impressions

When we first saw the eCom-C, we were pleased that this product is aesthetically pleasing. Bear in mind that it comes in two different forms: the eCom-C and the eCom-C Twist. And in terms of battery, glassomisers, and threading, you have several choices. The Twist features 510 eGo-threading, while the eCom-C only uses 510-threaded devices.

The battery can be charged up using the USB cable that comes in the package. In order to determine how much charge remains in the battery, you need to press the firing button. If the light remains on, the battery has at least a 60% charge. On the other hand, if the light were to blink on a continuous basis, there is less than 60% of a charge left. The lower the charge, the faster your device’s light blinks.

The eCom-C also comes with a host of performance and safety features that include regulated batteries that consistently put out the same amount of power until the battery is depleted and needs to be recharged. You’ll also enjoy short circuit protection, battery charge indication, low battery warning, and a 10-second puffing limit.

The eCom-C Twist features variable wattage only, ranging from 5.1w-10w. Use the dial for non-clicking, smooth turning in counter-clockwise and clockwise directions to adjust the wattage to your preference in increments of 0.1w.

The eCom-C, on the other hand, has a variable voltage mode and a constant output of 3.5v mode. You can switch between these modes by simply shutting the battery down with five quick clicks, holding the firing button down for five seconds, and waiting for the indicator light on the bottom to flash three times in white to set to constant output. When the light flashes in orange, you have set it to variable. In variable voltage mode, your battery can adjust automatically based on the atomiser you’re using.

The three clearomisers available are referred to as Type A, Type B, and Type C. They’re sold as either eGo threaded or 510 threaded. And they have a capacity of 1.5ml for e-liquids.

Giving It a Test Run

Overall, we felt that the eCom-C Twist is the stronger product of the two models available. We really like the variable wattage feature on it. But with both models, we really enjoyed all of the vapour that was produced, as well as the tasty flavours of our e-liquids.

In terms of battery life on our 900mAh battery, we were able to vape for around 4 hours on the eCom-C Twist that was set at 8.5w.

When we tested out the eCom-C Twist, we were able to use not only the glassomisers and atomisers that came in the kit, but also several 510-threaded tanks, such as the Kanger AeroTank Mini, along with the X.Jet Spider. And we didn’t have any problems with any of the combinations that we tried.

We found that the atomisers and clearomisers that are found within the eCom-C series are better than those of the eGo-C line. We can compare the atomisers to X.Jet and Aspire in terms of performance. Also, it’s really convenient that these new atomisers will screw onto the base of your clearomisers rather than simply being placed on them.

Final Thoughts

We feel that the eCom-C is a great option for those who are new to e-cig smoking, but it’s also a great option for experienced vapers who are tired of standard, boring cig-a-likes. This product is also great for veteran e-cig smokers who want to carry their device when they go out for a night with friends or even a day at the office, as it’s dressy and professional looking. Plus, the small size makes stealth vaping possible wherever you go.
